As Co-Founder and Director of Administration at ZamBantu Logistics Inc., Albina Chona oversees organisational management, compliance, and customer service, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations across Canada and Zambia. She also plays a vital role as the Government Liaison and champion for Gender Inclusion, strengthening ZamBantu’s connections with institutions, policymakers, and communities. Her work ensures that the company builds lasting partnerships and remains committed to equitable and inclusive growth.

Albina earned an Honours Bachelor of Political Science degree from Western University, formerly known as the University of Western Ontario, and a Master’s degree in Climate Change from the University of Waterloo. These academic achievements bring both analytical depth and a sustainability lens to her leadership. Her educational background provides her with the critical thinking, problem-solving, and policy analysis skills needed to guide ZamBantu in balancing growth with responsibility.

As a municipal planning intern, Albina performed research, data collection, and assisted with administrative tasks such as data entry, file management, and preparation of materials for public meetings. This role gave her valuable experience by engaging directly with real-world planning assignments. It also taught her the importance of structure, communication, and public engagement in decision-making processes, lessons she continues to apply in her leadership at ZamBantu Logistics Inc.

With over six years of professional experience in a fast-paced client service and process management environment, she is deeply committed to building systems that are transparent, customer-centred, and socially responsible. At ZamBantu, Albina’s focus is on creating a logistics company that does more than move goods. She is passionate about making ZamBantu a bridge between Canada and Zambia—linking people, policy, and opportunity to empower families and support sustainable development.
