ZamBantu Logistics, a bold new upstart bridging Canada and Southern Africa, is seeking a part-time Customer Experience Specialist to support our growing customer base. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a start-up environment, enjoys helping people, and is eager to grow with us.
Job Description
As a Customer Experience Specialist, you will:
- Serve as the first point of contact for customers via phone, email, and WhatsApp.
- Guide clients through the shipping process—from inquiries to booking and follow-ups.
- Manage and track customer requests, ensuring timely responses and updates.
- Provide packing and shipping guidance to customers and escalate complex issues when needed.
- Document customer interactions and maintain accurate records.
Support the operations team in handling customer-related logistics tasks.
Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Business, Communications, Logistics, or a related field (preferred).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven customer service experience (1–2 years minimum).
- Tech-savvy: comfortable with email, WhatsApp, and Microsoft/Google Office tools.
- Highly organized, dependable, and able to work independently.
- Knowledge of logistics/shipping processes is an asset, but training will be provided.
Compensation
Part-time: 10–15 hours/week
Competitive wage: CAD $18–20 per hour, depending on experience.
Opportunity for growth into a larger role as ZamBantu scales.
