ZamBantu Logistics, a fast-growing upstart connecting Canada and Southern Africa, is seeking dependable Warehouse Associates to support our operations in cargo handling, organization, and customer service. These are part-time roles ideal for individuals who are hands-on, detail-oriented, and eager to grow with an ambitious start-up.
Job Description
As a Warehouse Associate, you will:
- Receive, inspect, and log incoming customer shipments (boxes, barrels, appliances, donations).
- Assist with sorting, labeling, and preparing cargo for container loading.
- Operate basic equipment (pallet jacks, forklifts if certified) to move cargo safely.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
- Support customers during drop-off by providing guidance and receipts.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience is an asset.
- Ability to lift and move packages of up to 25–30 kg.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Forklift certification (preferred, but training can be provided).
Compensation
- Part-time positions only.
- One Warehouse Associate will be based in Canada with compensation of CAD $17.50–19.00 per hour.
- One Warehouse Associate will be based in Zambia, with compensation set according to local conditions and rates.
- Both roles offer opportunities for growth as ZamBantu expands.
